For all of June, any art you draw of your Roots OCs relating to Pride Month will get extra tokens!!

It's summertime and that means it's time to hit the beach! (Or river, or lake, or promenade, etc)

Bring your swim gear and a party attitude. Beach parties are a fun time to lay in the sun, swim, play games, enjoy cold treats and more! Draw or write how your character would spend the day by the water, perhaps how they'd design a sand castle.

Tis the season of harvest, and with a look around, one can see that the pumpkins have been particularly robust this year! It seems they've gotten a bit out of control in fact, and Rudania has plenty to spare.

Any character from any village may visit Rudania during this event and roll for the harvest. Some will be found in the farms and others can be found spread across the wilds! Stay tuned for more information as things start up.

Small, ornate purple and burgundy flyers have been seen posted about the villages... on the buildings in Rudania, the columns in Inariko, and the trees of Vhintl. They appeared overnight, with not even the keenest of eyes having discerned their architect.

They depict a stylized rendition of a strange individual wearing a mask and eccentric clothing of a monstrous nature, and dates paired with the village emblems. Those who have dealt with a certain dealer of monster parts would likely recognize the depicted figure, though their coming had never been 'advertised' like this on past appearances.

What the locals who remember do know.. is that no one knows what they really look like, and they always have a portable 'booth' with them. That, and their wares are exotic and disturbing, consisting almost entirely of monster parts...

Across varying weekends, any corresponding village residents can roll once per day (or night, in Hyrule time) to barter with the strange visitor, the success of which will be determined by the value of the roll.

Many monster parts may be gained in this quest, including some which aren't available by other means yet. At the end of the event, the three individuals who managed to talk the visitor out of the most impressive and rare monster parts will get an extra reward.

Spring comes to Vhintl once more, and with it, a celebration of the Goddess Farore and the perseverance of all good living things across Hyrule! Falole Festival celebration is upon the forest in full force and all across the treetop village, colorful woven fabrics, vibrant feather decorations and painted leaves of varying shapes and sizes can be seen strewn about in decoration for the week. The village center is especially active late into the evenings with jubilant music both rito and korok in origin, folk dancing, and korok games like balloon popping! Furthermore, villagers of all ages can be seen dressed in all sorts of colourful outfits and masks! And of course, what would such a celebration be without market stalls serving local food and drink?

Draw your OC(s) dressed for the festival and/or celebrating to participate!
Outfits, should they be worn, can be any colourful, festive spring attire! (As long as it’s something that can reasonably be attained in the setting.) And, masks of all shapes and sizes, representing all manner of forest life can be found at the hands of local mask makers! How is your OC celebrating?

Alongside the Summer Bloom Festival, more competitive types seek to prove their mettle in a variety of arenas. Giant bloom competitions amongst farmers take place while performers host pageants to entertain guests. Village Gorons can be seen indulging in their infamous sweat test while Soruma’s Sumo Dojo hosts a great tournament.

Even micro-competitions break out amongst friends, seeing which can endure eating more Goron-Spiced Curry without crying. Draw or write your OCs watching or taking place in one of these competitions! Din eagerly awaits your arrival…

Death Mountain has sprung to life for the first time in, well, gosh who can even know?! Thankfully none of the villages are at the mountain's foot, huh? Then again, if you cannot come to the mountain, it seems determined to come to you! For one week, starting today all until 11:59pm Friday, anyone who wished to roll in the town halls can roll an additional, special roll:

With all these great flaming rocks being tossed everywhere, the brave, the foolish, and the curious may just find a special treat! This roll is a once-per-day, free, ADDITIONAL ROLL. This will not replace your job rolls, and even those who do not roll may participate! But be cautious, after all, the Death Mountain is hurling rocks, are you sure you want to go out and catch them?

Draw any of your OCs dressed up to participate in this year's Poe's Eve festivities! You may design things however you like, as long as all materials used to make the costume are things your OC could feasibly be able to collect or come across in-world. (You can count this as canon or non-canon, whichever fits best with your OC!)

Anyone who gathered a pumpkin during the interactive rolling quest 'Pumpkin Harvest' - carve your best Pumpkin! Make art of the result, and/or get a BONUS if you carve a REAL pumpkin themed for Roots and share photos!
