Roots of the Wild uses a currency called tokens for a variety of out of world transactions. As a reminder, in world, there is no active form of money and the world works on a trade system. Any tokens gained are tied per member, not character.

Visual & Special Visual Works
Visual works are works such as digital and traditionally drawn artworks.
There are 6 different categories for visual works. They are calculated with the following formula:
【BASE】 x 【TYPE MULTIPLIER】 x 【PRODUCT MULTIPLIER】 + 【ADD-ONS】 = 【TOTAL】
Special Visuals works work similarly.
【COMIC】+ 【VISUAL WORK TOTAL】=【COMIC TOTAL】
【ANIMATION】+ 【VISUAL WORK TOTAL】=【ANIMATION TOTAL】
To make things easier, we have created a token calculator!
Our calculator is custom built & will reward more tokens for more characters drawn.
This is normal, and one reason why we recommend using it!
Note: Collaboration totals for art events should be divided before applying any bonuses!

Written Works
Per Word
Token payout will be rounded to the nearest whole number. You can easily calculate the tokens for your writing by taking your total word count and dropping the last number off the end.
IE: A word count of 1234 will be rewarded 123 tokens. A word count of 1235 will be rewarded 124 tokens.
Tokens
10 tokens
per 100 words
RP token rewards are given per individual contribution, not for the full word count.
IE: Total RP Word Count: 575
Person1 Word Count: 300 = 30 Tokens
Person2 Word Count: 275 = 28 Tokens
Written work submissions must be cleaned up and placed into a Google Doc before being turned into the #submissions channel on Discord.
Please proofread your work! Submit final products, not drafts!
RP logs must be cleaned up with timestamps removed, and have full word counts for each participant tallied and listed.
