The core RPG system bot, developed custom for Roots of the Wild.

Overview:
TingleBot is the beating heart of the Roots roleplay system. It handles your characters, inventory, jobs, travel, and more — offering an immersive RPG experience entirely within Discord.

🧝 Character Management

• Track stats: stamina, hearts, spirit orbs, experience

• View full character profiles with:

  • Gear & inventory

  • Companions/mounts

  • Status effects

  • Birthday & progression info

🎒 Inventory System

• Add, remove, and track items

• Search items with /lookup

• Crafting system with material requirements

• Gear system supports:

  • Stat bonuses (attack, defense, etc.)

💼 Jobs & Economy

• Available job types include:

  • Gatherer

  • Crafter

  • Healer

  • Booster

  • Thief

  • Vendor

  • Courier

• Each job has perks (e.g., crafters make gear, vendors can run their own shops)

• Token-based economy

  • Earn from jobs, events, quests, or exchanges

  • Spend in shops or trade with others

🧭 World & Exploration

• Dynamic map system with commands for travel

• Location-specific events & shops

• Seasonal & weather-based systems (rain affects travel, snow slows movement)

• Random encounters during travel

• Blight outbreaks, or bonus drops based on region

⚔️ Combat & Activities

• Monster encounters

• PvP duels & PvE battles

• Group raid system for larger parties

• Quest board (manual sign-ups and tracked via bot)

• Combat effects: poison, stunned, paralyzed, etc.

🎲 Minigames

• Participate in Ruugames or Chest minigames to roll for a chance at fun prizes in the chats!

• Specially integrated minigames like THEM let you defend your villages from invaders from the sky!

• Find adorable little Blupees scattered throughout the Dashboard for a chance at tokens!

🐾 Companions & Mounts 🎲

• Catch or buy mounts/pets

• Each comes with stats or perks (e.g., +speed, carry bonus)

• Mount encounter system while traveling

🎭 Server Role Selection

• All server roles (pronouns, villages, notifications, etc.) are now managed through Tinglebot reaction roles. Please go to the #🔔》Roles channel to make your selections.

📈 Leveling System

• Chat to gain XP!

• Level up by hanging out, helping others, and chatting across channels! The more you chat, the more tokens you have to spend on cool things!

• Exchange levels for tokens — Every level = 100 tokens!

• Please use these commands in #🔔》sheikah-slate:

  • /levels rank — view your level

  • /levels exchange — convert levels to tokens

  • /levels leaderboard — see the top members

🎂 Birthday Tracking

• Set your birthday with /birthday set in #🔔》sheikah-slate!

  • On your birthday you will:

    • Get an announcement in the server!

    • Get a special birthday role!

    • Be able to choose ONE reward

      • 1500 tokens OR

      • 75% discount in the village shop for that day only

🎖️Nitro Booster Auto-Rewards

• As a thank you to our boosters, you will automatically get 1000 tokens on the 1st of every month!

• You will receive a DM when the tokens are given, no action required

👻 Inactivity Manager

• Use /inactive in #🔔》sheikah-slate to mark yourself inactive

• Inactive = off the radar, but not kicked

• Use /active to return to normal! You will need to reselect your roles after.

• Auto-removal after 3 consecutive check-ins are missed

⚠️ Automatic Data Deletion System

• All user data is deleted automatically upon leaving the server. This means:

  • Player profiles and leveling data (XP, levels, message counts, exchanges, tokens, birthdays, Nitro rewards)

  • All characters (regular and mod), stats, hearts, stamina, gear, inventory

  • All pets and mounts

  • Job Vouchers and special statuses

  • Items in inventory and vending shops; crafted and gathered resources

  • Steal stats/history and blight history

• Deletion is immediate, there is no grace period. Once deleted, the data cannot be restored and if you rejoin you must start completely fresh. We do not keep backups of deleted accounts. If you are kicked for inactivity, your data will be deleted.

  • If you are leaving due to a compromise or hack, please tell mods so we can handle your case manually! Otherwise your data will be wiped.

  • You may, however, download a copy of everything you currently have so that your data can be restored upon rejoining.

✉️ Exporting Character Data

• In the case that you must leave Roots due to inactivity, a hack, or any other such reason, and you would like to return, you may download a copy of your characters' existing data.

  • Step 1: Log in to the Tinglebot Dashboard using your discord account, then click Profile on the left sidebar.

  • Step 2: Export ALL user data.

• Your export will contain RAW JSON data — not pretty, but complete. It includes all your stored values, stats, and meta information. These files are mainly for data backup or recovery.

  • Please note, your data will NOT include: pets, mounts, vending data, character slot counts, etc.
